Blacktail Lodge is located at the top of a beautiful box canyon just two miles from
Deadwood. Terry Peak Ski Area is less than ten minutes away. There is golf,
mountain biking, snowmobiling, and hiking within minutes. The Mickelson trail can
be reached from the Ranch through forest service land or is just a short drive
away. Blacktail Ranch is a part of the unique history of the Northern Black Hills.
Cowgirl Bunkhouse A bright and cheerful room filled with western horse items.
The view is down the canyon and into the garden. Outside is a fountain that gives the
impression of sleeping near a babbling brook. Queen bed sleeps two. Bathroom is
right outside the door.

Barn Goddess A sedate, calming room with jumping horses around the border.

Hunt Club A large master suite that sleeps up to four. Queen bed and bunk beds.
View is down the canyon. Perfect for the family. Large bathroom with tub and
separate shower and two vanities with sinks.

All rooms come with the use of laundry room, complete large
kitchen to fix your own meals and great room with cable tv.
The covered porch is the highlight of the Lodge. Sit and watch
the horses, play with the dogs, and just enjoy the serenity and
peacefulness of the Hills. Great place for a quick nap to
recharge your energy.
South Dakota tax will add 8% to your room rate.
